Artists Tech Support
My day job is a Tech Support Consultant for a major IT Service Company. I have noticed that since I have started talking to artists that there are a number of common questions that people have asked me about selling their art online and tips around promoting their art. I will be writing a series of articles that will highlight these areas and will link to them below as I write each one.
Overview
Most of the questions I get are around how to create a website. In the past you would have had to rent a server and install you web server or pay someone to create and manage it for you. More recently services such as Squarespace and Weebly are available and you can even create Facebook pages, that not only allow you to promote your art, but also sell it. This site is hosted by blogger, but I will describe how you work with other providers.
